The summer of Barbie is here. Barbie’s movie is due to be released on July 21. However, the summer celebrations of this iconic doll will continue with hotel promotions and pop-up exhibits.

Here are some of the most Barbie-inspired vacations you can enjoy this summer.

1. World of Barbie: Santa Monica (California)

The World of Barbie, a temporary exhibit in Santa Monica (California), takes visitors into Barbie’s universe, with a replica of the Dreamhouse, her campervan, shuttle space and television studio. The gallery section features vintage Barbie cars and dolls.

It is mostly a photo opportunity for children, but there are also interactive games and activities, such as a ballpit, or a real salon on some days, where stylists will be present. For an extra fee, you can build your own Barbie from scratch.

Tickets range from $25-$50 for adults and between $25-$32 per child. This exhibit will be open until early September.

2. Malibu Barbie Cafe – Chicago and New York

Barbie is spotted eating rainbow pancakes, bacon candied and beach burgers at the Malibu Barbie Cafe. This Barbie-inspired cafe is located in Chicago and New York, with a chef who has been a semi-finalist at MasterChef. Her menu can be found there.

There’s much more than eating at Barbie Restaurant. In Chicago, you’ll find a skating rink. The gift shops at both locations are filled with Instagram-worthy photo sets that you can use to create your Barbie-inspired shoot.

Tickets are available until mid-September for both restaurants.

3. The Curtis Hotel Denver: The Barbie Room

The Curtis Hotel, located in the heart of downtown Denver, offers Barbie themed hotel rooms. The hotel is part of DoubleTree By Hilton, but it has the feel of a boutique.

The hotel offers both standard and themed rooms. One of them is dedicated to Barbie. According to Tamara Atkin, hotel spokesperson, themed rooms usually cost $50-$60 more than standard rooms.

Barbie’s room has been decorated with the dolls themselves and a chair. The hotel offers a free makeup bag and vouchers for martinis at the bar. The Barbie Room at The Curtis Hotel is permanent, unlike other temporary offers.

4. St. Pete Beach: The Don CeSar

The Don CeSar, a beachfront hotel in the Bahamas that isn’t considered Barbie-style is also known as “the Pink Palace” for its pink exterior.

Ron Sandel said that HotelTonight’s general manager, Ron Sandel stated in an email, the hotel had seen a 30 percent increase in bookings compared to last year.

He said that HotelTonight customers were not surprised by the Barbie-themed hotel. The 1950s style ice-cream parlor at Don CeSar is a great addition. It’s just steps from the beach, and we can enjoy it without leaving the hotel.

5. Malibu Dreamhouse: The Ken Dreamhouse is available on Airbnb

Barbie’s Malibu Dreamhouse is only available to a few lucky guests. This oceanfront mansion features a disco dancing floor and an infinity pool.

Airbnb has previously run promotional campaigns for this glitzy home, but now it’s decorated in honor Ken, Barbie’s boyfriend. This house is available for only two nights in the summer of 2017, July 21-22.

The Malibu Dreamhouse is available for booking for one night for two people. Airbnb claims that the bookings don’t represent a competition, but stays, excluding taxes and fees, are completely free. Bookings will open on Monday, 17th July at 10am PT. Be ready to click.
