Bora Bora may seem like a distant dream, but you can travel to this Pacific Ocean island with points and miles. The Conrad Bora Bora Nui, a five-star Hilton property, is one example. It can be booked with Hilton Honors Rewards.
Bora Bora is very popular with honeymooners. However, it is also a great destination for friends, families and non-married couples. This is what you can expect at the Conrad Bora Bora Nui, and how to book it using points.
Conrad Bora Bora Nui, located on an island near Bora Bora’s main island, can only be reached by boat. A private Conrad boat will take you to the resort once you have arrived at Motu Mute Airport.
Airport pickup service does not come with your hotel room and is an additional $125 (15,000 Central Pacific Francs) per person.
The resort offers scheduled water transportation to Bora Bora’s main city, Vaitape. Be aware that certain departure times may incur an additional charge.
Conrad Bora Bora Nui is a mix of Polynesian and French cultures. Its design reflects both these influences. The hotel has been modernized and updated since its 2017 renovation. The majority of rooms are located in overwater bungalows. However, there are some garden suites available.
Conrad Bora Bora Nui offers 114 guest rooms. These include garden and lagoon-view suites, beach pool and overwater Villas. There are even two presidential overwater Villas where the Kardashians stayed to film a few episodes in 2011.
The standard rooms at the resort consist of the king lagoon-view suites that measure 1,087 square feet. They have double vanities and a rain shower.
Food & beverage
The Conrad Bora Bora Nui, which is on a private island means that there are only five restaurants on the island.

Tamure Beach Grill.
Tarava Pool Bar.
Reservations are required at most restaurants. Contact a concierge to learn more.
Iriatai offers a breakfast buffet each morning, and an open-air French restaurant at night. Choose from one of the pre-set menus to embark on a culinary adventure. You can leave your flip-flops at home, as the dress code is smart casual.
Banyan, a Chinese restaurant on the island, serves a prix-fixe and a la-carte menu. Banyan requires that you wear smart casual clothing.
Upa Upa Lounge Bar
The Upa Upa Lounge Bar is the most popular dining spot on the island. It features a glass floor as well as an outdoor terrace. This bar offers sushi rolls, sunset views, and live music in a chic setting. No swimwear is allowed.
Tamure Beach Grill
Tamure Beach Grill serves a variety of French, Polynesian, and international cuisines, including Lebanese Kefta, tacos, and pizza. Every Friday, you can enjoy a Polynesian dinner buffet at Tamure Beach Grill. This beachside restaurant is casually dressed. You don’t even have to wear shoes.
Tarava Pool Bar
Tarava Pool Bar offers the same menu as Tamure Beach Grill to those who lounge by the pool. You can also enjoy snacks and happy hour at the swim up bar, without having to leave the pool.
Conrad Bora Bora Nui offers one infinity pool and a beach. Elite Hilton Honors members have their own beach and cabanas.
Guests can also enjoy the following amenities:
A business centre.
A fitness centre.
You will be welcomed on the island with a welcome drink, and you can take a tour of the property by golf cart. A half-mile stretch is all that the resort is on, so it’s worth taking a quick tour of the island by car to get acquainted with the area.
If you have any questions or need to make reservations at the resort’s restaurants, or to book other activities such as scuba diving, feel free to contact a concierge. You can also take your kids to a kids’ club and have them play on the tennis courts.
Experience a traditional Tahitian Massage at the Hina Spa. It is located in an unusual location on the island, nestled among volcanic rock and with stunning views of Mount Otemanu.
Book the Conrad Bora Bora Nui Hotel with Hilton Points
Hilton uses dynamic pricing to book award nights. This means that the amount of points required to book a room changes based on the cash price and demand. Standard award availability at Conrad Bora Bora can be difficult to find.
If you are a standard award night holder at this property, aim for 120,000 Hilton Honors Points per night in a King Lagoon View Suite.
You can redeem Hilton Honors points for 4 nights, and receive the 5th night free if you are an elite member (Silver/Gold/Diamond) of Hilton Honors. Booking awards in 5-night blocks is a great way to maximize your points and stretch them further.
How do I get to Conrad Bora Bora Nui

For international flights to Papeete you have many options at the following U.S. Airports:
Air France departs from Los Angeles.
Air Tahiti Nui departs from Los Angeles, and returns seasonally to Seattle.
Delta Air Lines departs Los Angeles.
French Bee, San Francisco.

Redeem miles from any airline’s loyalty programs (except French Bee), or their partner’s award programs.
