Bora Bora may seem like a distant dream, but you can travel to this Pacific Ocean island with points and miles. The Conrad Bora Bora Nui, a five-star Hilton property, is one example. It can be booked with Hilton Honors Rewards.

Bora Bora is very popular with honeymooners. However, it is also a great destination for friends, families and non-married couples. This is what you can expect at the Conrad Bora Bora Nui, and how to book it using points.

Conrad Bora Bora Nui, located on an island near Bora Bora’s main island, can only be reached by boat. A private Conrad boat will take you to the resort once you have arrived at Motu Mute Airport.

Airport pickup service does not come with your hotel room and is an additional $125 (15,000 Central Pacific Francs) per person.

The resort offers scheduled water transportation to Bora Bora’s main city, Vaitape. Be aware that certain departure times may incur an additional charge.

Conrad Bora Bora Nui is a mix of Polynesian and French cultures. Its design reflects both these influences. The hotel has been modernized and updated since its 2017 renovation. The majority of rooms are located in overwater bungalows. However, there are some garden suites available.

Book the Conrad Bora Bora Nui Hotel with Hilton Points

Hilton uses dynamic pricing to book award nights. This means that the amount of points required to book a room changes based on the cash price and demand. Standard award availability at Conrad Bora Bora can be difficult to find.

If you are a standard award night holder at this property, aim for 120,000 Hilton Honors Points per night in a King Lagoon View Suite.

You can redeem Hilton Honors points for 4 nights, and receive the 5th night free if you are an elite member (Silver/Gold/Diamond) of Hilton Honors. Booking awards in 5-night blocks is a great way to maximize your points and stretch them further.

How do I get to Conrad Bora Bora Nui

Bora Bora is reached by an international flight from Tahiti to Papeete and a domestic flight from Bora Bora. Air Tahiti is the only airline that operates inter-island flights within French Polynesia.

For international flights to Papeete you have many options at the following U.S. Airports:

  • Air France departs from Los Angeles.

  • Air Tahiti Nui departs from Los Angeles, and returns seasonally to Seattle.

  • Delta Air Lines departs Los Angeles.

  • French Bee, San Francisco.

  • Hawaiian Airlines, Honolulu.

  • United Airlines departing from San Francisco.

Redeem miles from any airline’s loyalty programs (except French Bee), or their partner’s award programs. You can, for example, use American Airlines AAdvantage in order to book Air Tahiti Nui flight tickets or Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles in order to book United flight tickets (if Saver availability).
