Are the bonus points count towards Companion Pass?
Yes! Yes!
Companion Pass holders can choose one person to fly for free, excluding taxes and fees, for the remainder of this calendar year. This includes flights booked with points.
Southwest recently increased the Companion Pass requirements from 125,000 points per calendar year to 135,000. The good news is that Southwest cardholders will receive a 10,000-point increase each year they have the card.
