A Disney World vacation is incomplete without some royal treatment. Disney has many options to make your Disney World vacation even more special.

Let’s look at the top Disney princess restaurants, where they are located and when to visit them.

How Disney’s princess dining works

Disney World’s character meals are a favorite part of the experience. While you eat special, movie-inspired food, you can meet and greet many Disney characters.

Every dining experience gives you the chance to dine with princesses or other characters, and allow for signatures and photos.

Reservations are encouraged for larger groups, especially if they are made 60 days in advance. Online reservations are possible.

Tip

You can still choose where to stay on your Disney vacation, but you will have priority access for restaurant reservations for those who are staying at Disney resorts.

Disney princess restaurants

Cinderella’s Royal Table

Cinderella’s Royal Table, the Disney Princess Restaurant is a favorite. It offers the ultimate princess experience. You can dine with characters at breakfast, lunch, or dinner in Cinderella’s castle at Magic Kingdom.

Character dining is currently suspended, but all princesses will be returning on February 28, 2023. You may see different characters depending on the mealtime, but they could include Jasmine and Ariel, Aurora, Snow White, Cinderella, and Snow White.

Reservations for Cinderella’s Royal Table are required and can be made starting 60 days prior to your trip.

The restaurant is not open every day. There are specific hours for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

  • Breakfast 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

  • Lunch: 11:55 a.m. – 2:55 pm

  • Dinner 3:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Akershus Royal Banquet hall is another option for Disney World princess character dining. This family-friendly restaurant is located at Epcot’s Norway pavilion. It serves all-you can eat Norwegian and American cuisines.

Princess storybook dinner is available only during dinner. However, this period starts at 2:45 p.m. so you can make this an extended lunch. The restaurant is also open from 2:45 p.m. to 8:05 p.m.

You’ll also see a rotating cast including Belle, Jasmine and Snow White, Cinderella as well as Mary Poppins, Mulan, Mulan, and Cinderella.

1900 Park Fare

Are you looking for a Disney princess dinner at Disney World? The Grand Floridian Hotel has 1900 Park Fare, a high-end restaurant. It is currently closed for a phased reopening. However, guests can still enjoy character dining at both breakfast and dinner. Buffet-style food is available, but if you choose afternoon tea, it will be a plated dinner.

It will be different depending on the time you visit. You will have interactions with Mary Poppins and Alice in Wonderland as well as Tigger, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Alice in Wonderland, Tigger, and the Mad Hatter during the Supercalifragilistic breakfast.

You may want to consider Wonderland Tea Party if you have children. This party is for kids ages 4-12. The event is usually open Monday through Friday, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m.

The Happily Ever After Dinner is hosted by Prince Charming and Cinderella. During this time, you might spot them and maybe even catch a glimpse at the wicked stepmother or her two stepsisters.

Artist Point

Artist Point, like 1900 Park Fare is inside a Disney resort, rather than in the theme parks. This means that you don’t have to purchase park tickets for your reservation. This themed restaurant can be found at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Storybook dining is offered every day from 4 to 9 p.m. Artist Point offers a prix-fixe menu, which includes shared appetizers, individual entrees, and shared desserts.

Snow White is the only princess that you will find here, but you can also visit Dopey, Grumpy, and The Queen.

Tip

There are many character dining options for Disney characters.

Trattoria al Forno

Another option for a Disney World princess breakfast is this: Trattoria Al Forno will be serving guests, but its characters are temporarily unavailable. You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the Bon Voyage Adventure character breakfast with Rapunzel, Flynn Rider and Prince Eric when they return.

Trattoria al Forno can be found on Disney’s BoardWalk. This is an entertainment and dining district located just outside Epcot. There are many other restaurants and hotels in the vicinity, including Marriott’s Swan-Dolphin properties.

The hours of breakfast at this restaurant are 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., and dinner hours are 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Please Be Our Guest

This is a more honorary option, as it doesn’t directly concern any princesses. The Magic Kingdom’s Be Our Guest Restaurant offers three themed dining options.

The grand ballroom where Belle and the Beast danced in the last scenes of “Beauty and the Beast” is the largest and most spectacular.

The best part about the experience is meeting the Beast while you eat. You may see him at the entrance depending on when you go. You may also see him wandering around the restaurant as you dine.

Tip

Belle is not available at the Be Our Guest Restaurant. However, you can make a plan to visit Enchanted Tales With Belle if you want to meet the princess. This attraction is temporarily unavailable.

What’s the best Disney World princess dining experience?

It is difficult to choose the best option for Disney World princess dining. Each option offers unique experiences. There are traditional Norwegian-inspired dishes at Akershus Royal banquet Hall, French cuisine at Be Our Guest and more classic options such as beef stroganoff at Artist Point.

The Cinderella’s Royal Table is an excellent way to meet most of the Disney princesses, but it is also the most expensive. At the time of writing lunch and dinner are $67 plus tax and gratuity. This is in contrast to 1900 Park Fare’s $60 dinner prices.
